Men’s Ministry
At Washington Church, we
offer several programs for men to develop a deeper relationship with God
and with each other.
Men’s
“601” Group
Men will gather together for a centralized teaching by Pastor Jimmy and
Pastor Don and then will break out into smaller groups for the remainder
of the meeting time. We will meet on Wednesday mornings from 6:01 – 7:30 a.m. at
Washington Church in the Chapel. This will insure that the most
important things: learning to cultivate a deeper relationship with God
through Bible teaching, prayer, and accountability take place early in
the morning. The men will be challenged to deepen their personal
relationships with Jesus, to learn to share their faith struggles with
one another, to learn to pray for other men in their group, and to learn
a deeper sense of the Scriptures. If you want to grow in your
relationship with God this is how it gets done, through disciplining
yourself to get out of bed, and grow.
See you on Wednesday mornings at 6:01 a.m.
Small Groups
Small groups have a long history at Washington Church. We will be
starting two new groups for men the first week of February. We have
several small groups to
choose from. Please refer to the "Small Groups" ministry for the current
schedule.
Men’s Fraternity
Men’s Fraternity is a nationwide program that Washington Church helped
to launch in the Toledo area three years ago. We are not hosting a group
currently, but 20 other churches in the area have a first, second or
third year
session. Men’s Fraternity is a program developed by Dr. Robert Lewis.
