Dear Friends,

Over Thanksgiving Sara and Adam went to visit Ben and Lizzie in Aberdeen.  As the calendar would have it, they were there when Ben finally got to graduate.  You definitely need to check out what his graduation regalia looks like.  For the next 40 years as he walks down the aisle at other student’s graduation he will forever “feel the breeze.”

Joan and I are so proud of the kids.  Ben has been so diligent in cranking away at and finishing his thesis. The European set up takes less time but it’s far more intense and it takes a substantially self-motivated person to finish.

Lizzie has been a trooper in being the   breadwinner as she loves on both her customers and her staff as she manages a coffee shop.  As much as they have both loved their three plus years in Scotland they’re looking forward to the probability of coming back into the United States sometime in the late spring or early summer.

Ben is currently teaching three or four New Testament classes at the University of Aberdeen concurrent with having job interviews as well as sending out profiles.  It’s a chaotic time for them.  I understand why God gives so much energy to the young people.  They need it.

Love,

Don
