This is a long, overdue blog entry.

As you know, I always have five or six projects going at the same time.  The latest big project, which will probably be a five or six-year undertaking, is to build a tree house up at the church camp.  While it will not be ready for this year's camp, progress is being made.  Hopefully you can tell from some of the photos what's going on.  I have about 10 or 12 telephone poles that will be used as the foundation.  The supporting beams I'll have cut out of the remaining telephone poles and they should be somewhere between 18 to 20 feet off the ground.  Hopefully by next summer's camp the first floor should be ready so all the kids can sleep together in there - at least if that's what's desirable.

I hope to put a rather than ambitious playground underneath the tree house that our kids will have something to have fun with while they are at church camp.  I'll keep you posted as developments take place.
