Friends,
I experienced two milestones this past week. First of all, my brother,
At the same time my daughter Sara gave birth to a girl - Joanna. Joan spent a good deal of time with her and so could not be at my mom's 90th.
There is something very eye opening about seeing the "book ends" of life -
my mom 90 and my granddaughter at birth.
Joan and I have almost had enough excitement for this month. However, we
have to save a little room for my second daughter and her husband and new
baby moving back to Toledo from a four-year stay in Scotland.

sister and I celebrated my mother's 90th birthday. It was great to
reconnect with my brother and my sister and see how well my mom is doing.
